Cover Story....



"....The Bands (now annual..) Bridge gig....."


Two years ago The Band decided it would like to say 'Thank You' to its growing group of supporters. We had the idea to book an intimate venue, provide some nibbles and a slightly different take on our music, and have a damn good night with our friends.


The Bridge was chosen as the venue because of its perfect room upstairs - only problem was, everyone and their friends turned up and unfortunately, some friends couldn't even get in the room it was so full.

We sincerely hope it didn't spoil the evening for anyone and we intend looking for a larger venue for next years gig. Any ideas, please let us know.


Finally, at this years gig we hit on the idea of asking you all to help us support a local Charity. Your generosity has meant that we are able to present £100 to the chosen organisation -


Sir Bobby Robsons Cancer Trial and Research Centre, being built at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital
